大家好！我叫高琳琳。来自GAC3班。
    今天，我感到很荣幸能和大家一起分享我在预科学院的生活和学习的感受。我会介绍一些关于外教、课堂、时间安排、生活和课外活动的相关事情。
    1、关于外教：这里的外教均来自于不同的国家，这有助于我们适应不同的英语口音。另外，他们都很乐于帮助学生，他们通常会尽他们最大的努力帮助学生获得更高的分数。与此同时，他们有时也会介绍一些各国的文化和生活，为出国后的我们减少了由于文化差异所带来的不必要的麻烦。
    2、关于课堂：预科的课堂教学与传统的中国式教学大相径庭。在传统中式教学的课堂上，老师通常会说你该怎么做。但是，在这里，外教会鼓励学生去动脑筋并通过自己解决问题，努力培养对学科的兴趣。这主要通过小组讨论，课堂问答等形式提供给学生。这种形式，让我们在不知不觉中提高了我们的英语水平。我相信在座的学生和外国人交流已经不成问题了。
     3、关于时间的安排：我们每天有近7个小时的上课时间（星期五除外）和近2个小时的晚自习时间。所以有足够的时间可以做好复习和预习的工作。如果遇到学习上的任何问题，还可以向值班的外教请教，他们会很耐心的向我们解释。
    4、关于课外活动：我们有很丰富的课外生活。去年十月份，在老师的带领下我们去了动物园，在亲近大自然的过程中学习到许多关于动物的新知识。十一月份，学院举办运动会，为许多热爱体育的同学提供了崭露头角的机会。今年，我们同学们自己组成小组完成了有关河流的实验，在亲近自然和亲身实践中收益匪浅。这些活动都让我们的生活变的更加精彩。
    5、关于生活：对于许多学生来说，住校可能是头一次。但是出国后的我们必须得学会怎样独立生活和照顾自己。住校对于某些同学也是个锻炼的好机会。
    到现在为止，可能有的同学还在等大学正式录取通知书，有的同学已经拿到了大学录取通知书，我都衷心地希望每个人都能够考上自己满意的大学！

Good morning everyone, my name is Lily; I am a student in GAC 3.
It is a great honor for me to be here to share my experience in JCIE with you all. I will show you some information about teachers, classes, time, life and activities here.
1. About teachers: All of teachers here are from different countries, so this helps us to get accustomed to different accents. Besides, they are really helpful in our studies. They often try their best to help us to get higher marks. Sometimes they tell us some differerences between Eastern and Western cultures; it does decrease the possibilities of cultural conflicts.
2. About class: The teaching methods here are totally different from Chinese traditional teaching ways. In Chinese classes, most teachers will say:” You should do this and do that…” However, teachers in JCIE are more willing to encourage students to think，to solve problems by themselves and try to help them develop interests in the subjects. This is mainly on the group discussions, questioning and answering approaches. Meanwhile, the level of our oral English is improved unconsciously. Now, I am quite confident that there is no problem for us to communicate with foreigners.
3. About time: We have almost 7 hours in class (except Friday) and nearly 2 hours for self-study every day. So we can arrange our time to review or preview. No matter what the problems we met, the on-duty teachers would explain to us with great patience.
4. About after-school activities: We really have a very colorful life. Last year in October, the teachers organized a tour to the Zoo which provided us a good opportunity to observe animals. In the following month, a sport meeting was held on campus, which provided a chance to the sports lovers. This year, all the students finish the important experiment about rivers. We learned a lot from nature and practice. All the activities made our life colorful.
5.About living：Perhaps, for most of us, it is the first time to live in a boarding school. As we all know, we have to learn how to take care of ourselves when we are abroad to further studies. However, to experience in the dormitory may be a good choice for those people without independence.
Until now, some students may still wait for the offers; some students may already be admitted by some universities. I sincerely hope you all can get into the dream universities in the future. Thank you for all the great contributions from all the teachers. Thank you!
